Alex Kingston to present an award at this years Teaching Awards!
Alex Kingston will be presenting a Gold Plato award to a very special teacher on this years Teaching Awards.
The awards will be shown on BBC2 this Sunday (30th October), so make sure you're watching :)

Fanvids & Fanfiction
Guys :)
I'm going to be creating a page on here to display some Alex Kingston fanvids. These can be of Doctor Who, ER, Hope Springs etc...
I'm posting some of my own, but also looking to put some of yours on here too, so if you would like yours on the site, please contact me with the link to your video on youtube and I will post it on the site :)

Your favourite Alex Kingston quotes?
As you might have noticed, most of the pages on this blog are now updated, so now i'm looking to create more pages. I was thinking of creating a page of Alex quotes. It can be anything either she has said herself in an interview or something or that she has said as a character (for instance Elizabeth Corday or River Song).

Upstairs Downstairs
(I know this is old news to most of you, but as this is a new blog I'm going to post it anyway)
Alex Kingston joins Upstairs Downstairs (currently filming and due to air in 2012)!
She made her name as a fiery surgeon in ER and as Doctor Who’s love interest River Song.
Now Alex Kingston has been chosen to revive Upstairs Downstairs as the BBC try to match ITV’s Downton Abbey, which trounced its rival in the ratings last year.
Kingston will be the most prominent of several new cast members brought in to revamp the Thirties drama. The move comes after The Mail on Sunday revealed that Dame Eileen Atkins had quit the show.
Corporation bosses have promised that the introduction of Kingston will provide a more sensuous edge to the show.
She will play Dr Blanche Mottershead, the younger and sexier sister of Dame Eileen’s character, who is to be killed off.
Blanche is described as a free-thinking and outspoken archaeologist who smokes cheroots and who is fond of a ‘little light nudism’.
Kingston, 48, is no stranger to TV costume drama, having starred as both Boudica and Moll Flanders.

Hey guys :) Welcome to my new Alex Kingston blog. I'm still trying to work out how to work everything so please bare with me lol.
Most of you will probably know me from @A_KingstonFans on twitter, and if you don't already, then please follow (I will follow back if you ask).
